Description
This CD is the second released by Mòd gold medalist and Traditional Music Hall of Fame member Donald M MacLeod of Islay. It will appeal to music connoisseurs as, in addition to the late Donald’s fabulous tenor voice, it also contains the musical talents of such luminaries as Bobby MacLeod on accordion, Billy Thom on drums, Peggy O Keefe on piano, John Carmichael on accordion, Alasdair Fraser on fiddle, among others. All profits will go to the Lifeboat and Air Ambulance charity.
The album has two tracks which were thought to be lost – Gleann Cnoc Mòr and Òran nan Tosgaid. The CD represents a unique opportunity to hear these once-lost songs.
Donald is one of the most requested singers on local and BBC Radio, so here is a chance to own a range of Gaelic songs beautifully performed by one of Gaeldom’s most prestigious talents.
