Description
Wild West Highland days and storming tune-fuelled nights have formed FRAS. Their debut album, dile, is a bracing shower of melodies, a downpour of thundering rhythm with the occasional promise of sunshine.
Tha laithean garbh na Gàidhealtachd ‘s oidhcheannan fliucha ceòlmhor air FRAS a chruthachadh. Tha an ciad clàr aca, dìle, na fras phort, na dhìle ruitheam le deagh theans de ghreisean ghrèine.
FRAS, Gàidhlig for a shower, play wild west coast music on accordion, bagpipes, banjo, flute and guitar.
FRAS are: Angus Binnie from Cromarty on Pipes and whistles; Murdo Cameron from Glenelg on Guitar; Tam ‘the Banjo’ Kinsella from Arisaig, Kirsten MacLeod from Acharacle on accordion and Colin Masterton, Ballachullish, on flutes and whistles.
