Chris Sherburn is one of the best anglo-concertina players in the UK. He is renowned for his great playing and mighty craic! He is also well known for his longstanding musical partnership with Denny Bartley. They toured worldwide and released numerous albums. They formed band extraordinaire “Last Night’s Fun”, and it was here Findlay and Chris met. In recent years Chris has also toured extensively with Bella Hardy.
Findlay Napier is a Scottish singer, guitarist and songwriter based in Glasgow. After attaining his BA in Scottish Traditional Song Findlay formed a traditional folk band called Back of the Moon which performed all over the world and released three albums. They were awarded ‘Best Up and Coming Act’ at the Trad Music Awards in 2003 and ‘Folk Band of the Year’ in 2005.
When the Back of the Moon disbanded in late 2006 Findlay performed with Last Night’s Fun for a year playing up and down the length of the UK. At the same time he formed Findlay Napier and The Bar room Mountaineers. Findlay is a fine songwriter……
