The Fèis Fhoirt Cèilidh Trail was established in 2011 as an opportunity for young traditional musicians to embark on a tour of their local area during their summer holidays, giving them invaluable experience as life on the road as a touring musician. The 2015 project was a great success, featuring 6 fantastic musicians. The album showcases the programme they performed in their concerts and shows the high standard of musicianship within the group and creativity expressed through the medium of traditional local tunes and more modern repertoire.
