Description
In the Year of the Homecoming this DVD was created in music words and song, recording the changing seasons, and the life of a unique rural Community based in the heart of Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire. The name Finzean means “the fair place” in Gaelic, and was first given to the modest home of the Farquharson family in 1609. Over the centuries this small property expanded into something greater, and became a more substantial Estate and Parish in its own right. The DVD is very much about the Community and the people of all ages and many talents who live here and contribute to make it so utterly unique. They give of their time freely and generously and to all of them, both young and old, we would like to say thank you for helping to make this recording possible. DVD playing time 65 minutes.
