A Fated Moment Sung is Heather Cattanach and Holly Beckmyer’s first CD release following their live film recording in 2023 of The Gamma Ray Constellations with Mr McFall’s Chamber, Harris Playfair and members of the NYCOS Chamber Choir (which is free to watch on Youtube @HeatherCattanachMusic). Heather composed the music and lyrics and Holly, classical soprano sings these Art Songs. The lyrics consist of Scrabblegrams. Heather provides piano accompaniment, as well as touches of harmonium. Harris Playfair (piano), Sam Lord (saxophone) Maria Waszyrowska (soprano) and Wattie Blake (spoken word) also add their talents. Included is a 16 page colour booklet showing the Scrabblegrams in their native environments. Recorded, mixed and mastered by Stuart Hamilton, Castlesound.
