After The Rain, the debut, self-penned album from Aberdeenshire singer Jill Torvaney contains songs about love, passion and joy; disillusionment and hope, inspired by personal experiences, news and life events and stamped with a weather theme. Jill’s creative inspiration came from listening to some of her favourite composers including Eric Satie, Cole Porter and Stevie Wonder and a desire to explore different jazz styles.
