Description
Pippa Reid-Foster is a performer, composer and teacher of the harp from the west coast of Scotland, she teaches children and adults weekly, sharing her passion for music. Pippa also enjoys playing her Clarsach at a diverse range of venues and travels far and wide to entertain at weddings, public and private receptions, corporate events, charity events and various other functions.
After gaining a BA (Hons) 2:1 in Design for Textiles in 2008 Pippa decided she wanted to pursue her passion in music, putting her creativeness to good use through arranging and composing, she gained an MMus in Scottish Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2014, focusing on performance and composition. Pippa’s solo album, Driftwood Harp, is a compilation of new compositions and arrangements of harp music based on the rich folklore, myths and history of the Argyll area.
