Description
Sally Barker is best known as the star of The Voice 2014 and as a founding member of folk group The Poozies, but that is not to say the quality of her expansive solo catalogue is in any way lacking. The Compilation – Another Train was released in 2000 and chronicles here solo career quite concussively to that point. You won’t hear Dear Darlin’ or Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood, but this album is a must-have for any that were captivated by her voice and tearjerking performances.
This album features music from Sally’s self-titled debut, released in 1989, to her 1998 release Passion And The Countless. This compilation is a fantastic starting point for anyone interested in Sally’s solo work and, thanks to the inclusion of a few formerly unreleased tracks, it holds appeal for dedicated fans too.
